Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead the Food and Beverage Department at StepStone Hospitality. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve food quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu items.
- Develop and implement new menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and stewards, to ensure efficient and effective food production.
- Conduct regular inventory and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to maintain profitability and maximize revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Train and develop subordinate staff to improve skills and knowledge.
- Participate in menu planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business growth and success.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume food service environment.
- Proven track record of success in menu development, cost control, and staff management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
