The Front Office Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the Front Desk's daily activities in a welcoming, efficient, and professional manner. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to guests before and during their stay, while also optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities

As a management-level position, the Front Office Operations Manager is expected to dedicate a significant portion of their workday to fulfilling job responsibilities. This includes:

  • Ensuring that all guest inquiries, issues, and feedback are addressed promptly and courteously.
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing Front Desk staff in accordance with company standards.
  • Conducting interviews and performance evaluations for Front Desk personnel.
  • Monitoring room availability and revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy.
  • Coordinating training programs to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and staff schedules.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Proven supervisory experience and the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and company-approved software.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
