Job Purpose

The Guest Services Representative is responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for guests entering the venue, and providing detailed information about the venue, food and beverage menu, and gaming options. This role requires a complete understanding of the reservation system to keep it organized and communicate details to guests and venue staff throughout operations.

Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastically greet and assist guests, locate event spaces, and answer general questions about the venue
  • Ensure that guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service
  • Be a brand ambassador and ensure each guest is fully aware of playing and dining options
  • Communicate clearly, succinctly, and patiently to all guests and teammates
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate parties
  • Manage and maintain waitlists for hitting bays, assess guest needs, and use salesmanship tools to add value to the guests experience
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
  • Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods
  • Organizational, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills a must
  • One or more years of experience working as a front desk agent or similar experience
  • Experience with a computerized booking system/point of sale system
  • Bilingual abilities a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with reservation software and hospitality
  • Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs
  • Ability to travel, unassisted as needed
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at-a-time without assistance
