Profile:

The Vice President of Business Transformation and Clinical Innovation is responsible for spearheading the strategic initiatives and execution plans necessary to enhance the service offerings for our Military clientele, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers through the evaluation of potential partnerships.

In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and other executive leaders, this role involves designing and implementing multi-year transformation strategies across various stakeholder systems to advance delivery and operational frameworks that support a cohesive approach to health.

This leader must advocate for change and continuous improvement while fostering robust relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.

Key decisions regarding the implementation of new or updated programs and large-scale projects will be made to support operational procedures, strategic objectives, and performance enhancements.

The Vice President will formulate comprehensive strategies for the evolution of our 'Convener of Care' initiative, emphasizing a programmatic approach to system transformation that integrates clinical, operational, and cultural elements.

This role will oversee and coordinate multiple growth teams focused on innovative experimentation, acting as a facilitator for transformation across various dimensions of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Direct and manage program activities and outcomes of agile teams dedicated to innovative transformation initiatives that yield efficiencies and benefits for both internal and external stakeholders.

2. Lead the ongoing development and refinement of the Convener of Care strategy for business transformation, with a particular focus on enhancing customer experiences and provider relationships.

3. Represent the business perspective in decisions related to the identification, development, and management of technology that supports operational changes aligned with transformation goals.

4. Drive the creation of the implementation framework, playbook, and strategy for integrating customer experience and provider transformation across partner organizations.

5. Identify and address cross-functional complexities, risks, and issues.

6. Evaluate end-to-end process performance for customer and provider journeys by analyzing data from various sources to identify opportunities for process improvements.

7. Establish governance protocols to document and monitor business processes, rules, requirements, metrics, and standard operating procedures resulting from transformation initiatives.

8. Provide improvement recommendations to operational units through innovative experiments and targeted workshops.

9. Synthesize transformation program outputs into executive-level presentations, updates, risk assessments, mitigations, and business recommendations.

10. Develop and mentor talent within the organization; promote associate engagement and culture; and foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.


Required Skills and Expertise:
1. Proven ability to lead agile and cross-functional teams with a growth mindset.
2. Focus on leveraging technology to enhance organizational efficiencies.
3. Experience in clinical and business innovation.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Strategic thinking and experience in developing and managing teams of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Business Analysts.
6. Ability to establish and measure OKRs and other key performance metrics.
7. Proficient in data analysis and decision-making based on data insights.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
3. Understanding of agile methodologies and/or senior agile leadership skills.
4. Excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. 5-7 years of total experience, including 3-4 years in management consulting or transformation roles.
2. Knowledge of the medical health insurance industry.
3. Familiarity with TRICARE industry practices.
4. MBA or Master's degree is preferred.

1. 25-30% travel may be required.
