Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our hospitality team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sweet treats for our members, including baked goods, pastries, and desserts. You will work closely with our executive pastry chef to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of sweet treats, including baked goods, pastries, and desserts, according to our recipes and production schedule.
  • Portion and arrange products to specifications and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Stock all items for our a la carte service and help prep for banquet events.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of how to properly use all of our kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Report any issues to maintenance in a timely manner to ensure that our equipment is functioning properly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or vocational training certificate.
  • 2+ years of experience working as a pastry cook.
  • Valid Food Handler's certification for Austin, TX.
  • Working knowledge of pastry and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Proficient in English.
