We are seeking a skilled Pastry Supervisor to join our Culinary team at The Driskill Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of various food items, ensuring a consistent and high-quality product that meets and exceeds our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
- Produce a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner
- Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality on a daily basis
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- Lead department trainings and assume department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef
- Assist with monitoring payroll costs and overtime

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous kitchen experience is required
- 1+ years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel
- Requires refined communication skills, strong leadership, and relationship skills
- Culinary degree or related kitchen experience is preferred
- Candidates should be able to perform all intermediate and advanced cooking skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must exhibit a positive attitude and have a passion for teamwork
