Key Responsibilities- Interview and screen prospective residents for occupancy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare, process, and sign leases and rules, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion.
- Purchase general supplies and services, adhering to our purchasing policy and procedures.
- Assist with inspections and monitoring work orders, ensuring prompt resolution of resident concerns.
- Collect rent, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate records using our property management software.
- Write warning letters and prepare legal notices to residents, maintaining a professional and respectful tone.
- Submit required reports and maintain records according to company policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform related work and other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Excellent problem-solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in property management software a plus.
- 1-2 years of property management experience, preferably in the affordable housing sector, with a strong understanding of Tax Credit properties and Section 42 regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel for training purposes.
- Knowledge of company policies, federal, state, and local laws, and other rules that pertain to tenants, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
- Medical, dental, and vision care, with preventative medical care paid at 100%.
- Vacation leave of up to ten days per year in the first year, with opportunities for additional time off as needed.
