About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at PMA Companies. As a key member of our Account Management Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop strategies to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Coordinate Claim Reviews and Reporting: Coordinate and facilitate claim reviews and standard stewardship reports in accordance with client contract expectations.
  • Manage Client Files and Data: Create and maintain client Special Handling Instructions, Claims Team Rosters, client folders, and all other client-related files in accordance with established best practices.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Support New Client Transitions and Departures: Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, and services to inform clients and provide recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in customer service, account management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the insurance industry is required, with completion of the PMA Claims Apprentice program strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate client needs and deliver exceptional customer service.
