Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the MD Anderson Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, with a focus on providing exceptional support to senior-level executives and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to senior-level executives and teams, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, including arranging for catering, audio-visual equipment, and other logistical details.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases, including tracking progress and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • Five years of administrative experience, with a focus on supporting senior-level executives and teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
