We are currently seeking a part-time Field Support Specialist to become a vital member of our Infrastructure Delivery team. Reporting directly to the Territory Supervisor, the Field Support Specialist will engage in a range of hardware-centric troubleshooting and repair services for various client products. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to conduct both basic and moderately intricate diagnostic and repair tasks. This role may necessitate the application of analytical skills and decision-making based on established departmental and organizational protocols.

Compensation and Benefits:

$40 per service call / $5 per service call per diem

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Delivering customer support for designated equipment repairs
  • Effectively communicating in both written and verbal formats
  • Exhibiting outstanding customer service abilities
  • Managing the acceptance and completion of all assigned service calls
  • Executing all administrative duties associated with each service call
  • Overseeing the control and return of assets and inventory
  • Performing additional tasks as required to fulfill business objectives
  • Providing functional guidance to team members as necessary

Qualifications

  • Generally requires technical school certification or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years in a relevant field
  • Ability to travel independently to client locations
  • Capability to lift and/or transport various computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Access to reliable transportation with valid registration and sufficient insurance
  • Ownership of a basic repair tool kit
