Job Summary

The Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine Inc seeks an experienced Surgical Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for coordinating surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment, and supporting the overall success of our hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Surgical Scheduling: Coordinate daily schedules with surgeons and anesthesia teams to optimize patient flow and minimize delays.
  • Preoperative Planning: Verify patient information, surgical margins, and equipment requirements with surgeons before each procedure.
  • Operating Room Maintenance: Ensure that operating rooms are properly cleaned, stocked, and maintained, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage surgical implant and disposable inventory, ensuring timely restocking and availability.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate case logs, facilitate operative reports, and submit histopathology/culture samples as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in veterinary medicine or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control protocols, and supply management practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package.
