Job Summary

The Data Entry Salesperson will play a critical role in supporting business operations by generating and maintaining reports, providing departmental knowledge on performance, and developing data versions to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to work closely with technology to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of business processes and data-driven decision making.
  2. Develop and maintain robust data quality requirements and management to ensure data integrity and availability.
  3. Manage and develop new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse.
  4. Collaborate with Control and Business Analysts to understand business requirements, maintain detailed documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting needs.
  5. Develop, maintain, and cultivate scalable data pipelines and data architecture.
  6. Use data storytelling techniques to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
  7. Aid in automating existing business processes and enriching exception-based coverage.
  8. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to research, study, and secure new data variables (data exploration).
  9. Evaluate large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable insights.
  10. Seriously evaluate data from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies.
  11. Verify data for authenticity by validating against requirements.
  12. Research data errors and remediate poor data.
  13. Join the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & operations.
  14. Assess and verify metrics are effective and provide feedback to team leaders on patterns that require attention.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience executing detailed data analysis.
  • Solid experience working with PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with DAX, SQL, M Code.
  • Competent in SQL, able to write complex SQL to generate reports and analytics.
  • Competent in ETL tools including SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
  • Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods.
  • Problem-solving through statistical analysis with large data sets highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Experience with Smartsheets.
  • Solid track record in the development and timely completion of projects and deadlines.
