We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting with new and existing customer sales, providing product support to outside sales representatives, and generating sales through telephone calls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices, and quotations.
  • Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
  • Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives, and enter work orders, credit returns, and service requests.
  • Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products, and obtain information on pricing specifications, uses, and availability.
  • Manage schedules for projects by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
  • Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
  • Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues, and solve billing problems and compile data for closing.
  • Handle special orders and advanced pricing, and assist with pricing and special price lists.
  • Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
  • Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
  • Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application required.
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.

50% Travel, must be able to drive.
