Responsibilities
  • Manage complex global programs and projects end-to-end in a highly matrix organization, manage roadmap and deliver outcomes.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of project activities for the software assurance team.
  • Create iteration work plans with input from various technical teams, including operating system, system software, and microservices, mobile, cloud applications, and security teams.
  • Work with a diversified group of stakeholders and technical leads to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Track work progresses and create audience-appropriate status reporting.
  • Develop and maintain agile board(s), Jira issues, and Confluence pages.
  • Drive on-schedule project outcomes by focusing on deliverables using Gantt charts or similar tools, identifying dependencies and obstacles, and taking ownership to remove impediments for the delivery teams.
  • Engage and communicate calmly and professionally with project team members and peers and lead using influence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10 years of overall experience in the software industry with at least 8 years as a program or senior project manager.
  • Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes, and action items, and drive to-dos to completion.
  • Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS Project Plan Online.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing software assurance projects.
  • Experience/background in security space, cloud applications.
  • Working knowledge of scripting language for JIRA & Confluence automation.
  • Higher-level skills in project management tools using MS Project online.
  • PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
  • Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other agile certification.
  • Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).
