Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lights Manager to join our team at WAC Lighting in Port Washington, NY.

This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee inbound job requests, ensuring timely completion and accurate data entry.
  • Review and analyze construction documents to identify product requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement project timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet client expectations.
  • Balance workflow by prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Verify and validate shop drawings to guarantee accuracy and address inventory constraints.
  • Confirm inventory availability and negotiate substitutions or changes as required.
  • Evaluate materials for environmental suitability before submission to clients.
  • Analyze project trends and performance, providing regular reports to company leadership.
  • Develop expertise in product applications, including dimming, switching, and photometrics, to offer informed lighting solutions to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in project coordination or project management.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or project management in a fast-paced business setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a proven ability to complete tasks accurately.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory.
  • Licensing in Lighting Design or Project Management is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and AGI32 is preferred but not required.
