Job Summary:

The Associate Director, Academic Affairs Office, is a key member of the InsideHigherEd team responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students considering studying for a semester in Wharton San Francisco. This role requires a strong understanding of educational pathways and a commitment to delivering exceptional educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support and guidance to students considering studying for a semester in Wharton San Francisco.
  • Work in partnership with students, faculty, and staff to assure an exceptional educational experience for our students in every aspect of their academic experience.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of technology, entrepreneurship, finance, and/or analytics, and advise San Francisco-bound students on all possible tracks in these academic areas.
  • Share expertise in these areas with other professional staff and contribute to the development of academic programs.
  • Collaborate with the coordinator for co-curricular opportunities on the San Francisco admissions process and with the Deputy Vice Dean on course selection for San Francisco.
  • Communicate the San Francisco programming to MBA Admissions and serve as a liaison to Career Management.
  • Travel to San Francisco as needed to support academic programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven business experience in an environment with applications in technology, entrepreneurship, finance, and/or analytics.
  • Cultural competency and ability to deliver superior customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to San Francisco as needed.
