Position Overview:

About the Role:
As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and developing tailored nutrition care plans for adult outpatients facing cancer. You will also provide vital nutritional guidance to healthcare staff, physicians, students, and the wider community through both individual consultations and group programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments in line with your licensure and organizational standards.
  • Effectively communicate dietary recommendations to patients and the clinical team through detailed medical documentation.
  • Facilitate educational programs and support group presentations focused on nutrition and cancer.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in nutrition for oncology patients and cancer prevention strategies.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in human nutrition, dietetics, or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience in a clinical environment with cancer patients is essential.
  • Registration with the American Dietetic Association and State of New Hampshire RD registration is mandatory.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems are preferred.

Work Schedule:
Days, as needed, on a per diem basis.
