Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Project Manager to join our team at Batchelor & Kimball. As a Commissioning Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and implementation aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Manage project finances, including cash flow, monthly forecasted costs and revenues, and forecasted costs at completion.
  • Project Administration: Oversee project administration, including contract management, risk mitigation, and project documentation.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project status is communicated effectively.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, including task dependencies, milestones, and critical path.
  • Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines, manage subcontractor execution, and foster professional relationships.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and communicate with customers and assigned staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in HVAC and Project Management, with experience working with building owners preferred.
  • Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, consistent dependability and availability, ability to work in a fast-paced construction office environment, and aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Knowledge: Mechanical knowledge, project management, and commissioning processes, documentation, and implementation.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role are those associated with working in a typical office environment and miscellaneous field travel.
