Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering support to our food ingredient production processes, as well as devising innovative strategies to elevate manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and conduct work in alignment with IFF's Core Values.
  • Utilize engineering expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Research & Development, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive innovation and manage product launches.
  • Offer technical guidance for capital projects, including design, justification, and commissioning.
  • Deliver daily technical assistance to operations, focusing on process optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with production management to formulate strategies that enhance manufacturing outcomes.
  • Mentor production staff to foster technical knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within engineering and manufacturing.
  • Support initiatives related to Process Safety Management (PSM) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or a related field with relevant industrial experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong collaborative skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated with robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in food ingredient manufacturing or a similar sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to address complex challenges in a team setting through data-driven approaches.

This role involves regular engagement within the manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Occasional travel may be necessary to support cross-site projects and initiatives.
