Account Executive

Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to manage our Southeast US territories. This role offers fully remote capabilities, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
CIL is a global leader in a highly technical and fast-growing industry, supplying critical materials to scientific and high-technology markets. Our customer base spans academia, pharmaceutical, medical diagnostic, and semiconductor industries, collaborating with Nobel laureates, industry-leading scientists, and chemists.
The Account Executive will work closely with sales management to develop sales plans and execute strategies driving customer volume and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strategic sales plans with management teams and independently executing plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- High-volume outreach via phone, email, web-based platforms, and miscellaneous tools to identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and networking
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and prospects
- Presenting CIL application overviews, product specifications, usage details, benefits, and capabilities to customers and prospects
- Preparing and presenting sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to management and CIL teams
- Negotiating contracts, supply agreements, and pricing agreements with customers with assistance from management teams
- Working closely with the sales team, marketing, pricing, supply chain, production, R&D, and customer engagement to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline or related field required or experience in technical sales
- 2+ years of sales experience in a high-volume territory
- Proven track record of sales success, preferably in a scientific or technical industry
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
