Tax Manager for New Product Initiatives

Job Summary

Meta is seeking a seasoned tax professional to join its team responsible for supporting the development, growth, and expansion of Meta's product offerings and new initiatives globally, with a focus on monetization and platform products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and strengthen working relationships with business teams to ensure integration with various functions, bring tax awareness, and champion tax requirements.
  • Partner with US and international tax teams to ensure full tax integration and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Embed with product management organizations, work closely with platform and product engineering teams to provide tax due diligence in supporting the end-to-end full life cycle of product deployment, including design review, testing, launch, tax functionality, reporting, and compliance.
  • Work with finance and accounting teams to implement and improve end-to-end tax processes and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Provide day-to-day operational guidance and timely address to cross-functional finance and business teams' inquiries.
  • Work with internal policy teams and external advisors supporting indirect tax policy initiatives.
  • Support Indirect Tax teams with indirect tax audits globally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in tax-related fields or industries.
  • Experience communicating and presenting tax matters to all levels of business organizations.
  • Experience working with and in cross-functional teams.
Compensation

$174,000/year to $249,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
