Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with U.S. and local country tax laws.
- Collaborate with business partners and tax department members to structure and understand transactions, restructurings, and business initiatives.
- Provide tax technical advice and support to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and tax controversy analysis.
- Manage tax and execution risks, and ensure coordination and execution of cross-functional tax solutions.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- 12+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience.
- Experience in taxation in a corporate environment, public accounting firm, or major law firm.
- Experience managing other employees and leading international tax teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partner well with people at all levels within an organization.
Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $151,300/year to $225,200/year, depending on location.
