Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at FPI Management. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties, including apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Grounds and Aesthetics: Maintain the grounds, curbs, and property aesthetics to ensure compliance with our Curb Appeal Policies.
  • On-Call Response: Serve as an on-call maintenance technician, providing evening, weekend, and holiday emergency services as needed.
  • Unit Turnovers: Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon move-in.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage and maintenance of maintenance shops and storage rooms.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English; basic computer skills; and ability to wear a respirator.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rehab/Renovation: Experience with rehabilitation and renovation projects.
  • Pool Maintenance: Knowledge of pool maintenance and repair.
  • Plumbing Repair: Experience with plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Painting: Ability to paint interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Landscape/Grounds: Knowledge of landscape and grounds maintenance.
  • HVAC Maintenance: Experience with HVAC system maintenance and repair.
  • Electrical Repair: Knowledge of electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Drywall Installation/Repair: Experience with drywall installation and repair.
  • Carpentry: Knowledge of carpentry and woodworking.
  • Boiler Systems: Experience with boiler system maintenance and repair.
  • Appliance Repair: Knowledge of appliance repair and maintenance.
