Job Summary

As a Payroll Specialist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by answering payroll-related questions and meeting all deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide phone support to field employees regarding payroll checks and miscellaneous questions
* Research and resolve payroll inquiries from the field regarding payments processed through the Payroll Department
* Make corrections to information in the systems if necessary
* Collaborate with staff to ensure all payroll processing deadlines are being met
* Assist with exception/audit reports before processing payroll

Requirements:

* High School Diploma/GED
* Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
* Experience communicating verbally and in writing to various audiences
* Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's degree
* At least 2 years of experience in clerical accounting or payroll
* Payroll Certification
* Basic level skill in Microsoft Access
