Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data, and maintaining payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for all employees, including bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data, including tax withholdings and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records, including employee data, payroll history, and compliance documentation.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, including payroll summaries and detailed reports.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
