Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Riverside Medical Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Collect and record patient data, including vital signs, medical history, and test results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing examination rooms.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), pulse oximetry, and other diagnostic tests as certified.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including charting and documentation.
  • Inventory and order medical supplies and materials as needed.
  • Support the healthcare team by providing administrative assistance and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of medical group experience preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification and current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
