Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Josh Sherrill Insurance Agency. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to build new and expand current customer relationships in the Senior Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and meeting sales and lead generating activities goals.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Move sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently, while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel.
  • Customer Engagement: Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals.
  • Market Positioning: Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends.
  • Outbound Sales: Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Some industry or product knowledge preferred and a High school diploma is required.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in sales.
  • Team Player: Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines.
  • Experience: Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
