Markon is currently seeking a dedicated and career-oriented Senior Intelligence Analyst to enhance our operations.

In this role, you will be involved in overseeing the extensive flow of individuals, capital, and goods that enter and exit the United States through various means. The complexity of both physical and digital border crossings necessitates the application of business intelligence support services to facilitate efficient trade and travel. Furthermore, effective intelligence support and advanced data solutions will assist in ensuring that the movement of people, capital, and goods is lawful, secure, and safe. To address these challenges, Markon seeks a qualified and adaptable Senior Intelligence Analyst to support mission-critical decisions related to national security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, assess, analyze, and summarize data from specific sources, transforming it into comprehensive analyses and reports.
  • Identify, review, and evaluate extensive volumes of sensitive and intricate intelligence data relevant to operational initiatives.
  • Deliver analytical reports that categorize available collection resources and recommend the most effective alignment of these resources against intelligence gaps.
  • Utilize inductive and deductive reasoning, employing established intelligence techniques to analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, studies, and tactical information.
  • Develop expertise in assigned areas by collecting, evaluating, and utilizing classified and unclassified resources, raw data, databases, and intelligence reports.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, applying facts and data to organizational requirements, and extrapolating from existing intelligence data.
  • Engage in the development of research initiatives, reviewing and evaluating the outcomes of these programs until they are fully operational.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in law enforcement or a classified intelligence analysis environment.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing large, complex transaction data, with the ability to synthesize information from extensive datasets.
  • Experience in developing intelligence requirements linked to information gaps.
  • Experience in community and threat identification.
  • Experience presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in writing concise intelligence reports.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the targeting environment and applications.
  • Prior experience with operational data analysis.
  • Specialization in geopolitical regions such as Russia or China.

Clearance:

  • Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
  • Frequent operation of computers and other office machinery.
  • Regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders, which may involve delivering presentations.
