In response to these challenges, Markon seeks qualified and adaptable Senior Intelligence Analysts to aid in making critical decisions related to national security.

The selected candidate will be tasked with applying a comprehensive range of analytical skills and knowledge to compile data into well-structured analyses and reports. This role requires a thorough understanding of intelligence methodologies and a broad awareness of various demographics and regions to forecast future scenarios and recommend appropriate actions. The individual may also lead research and collection initiatives, utilizing facts and estimates from multiple sources to address diverse technical challenges and assess their feasibility and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, assess, analyze, and summarize data from designated sources, transforming it into comprehensive analyses and reports.
  • Review and evaluate extensive volumes of sensitive and intricate intelligence data related to organizational initiatives.
  • Generate analytical reports to categorize available collection resources and recommend optimal alignment of these resources against intelligence deficiencies.
  • Utilize inductive and deductive reasoning with established intelligence techniques to analyze data from various sources, developing trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, studies, and tactical information.
  • Establish functional expertise in assigned areas by collecting, assessing, and utilizing classified and unclassified resources, raw data, databases, and intelligence reports.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, applying facts and data to meet organizational requirements, and extrapolating from existing intelligence data.
  • Engage in the development of research initiatives, reviewing and evaluating the outcomes of these programs until they reach full operational capability.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience are required.
  • Experience in law enforcement or classified intelligence analysis environments is essential.
  • Proven expertise in interpreting large, complex transaction data, with the capability to synthesize information from extensive datasets.
  • Experience in formulating intelligence requirements linked to information gaps.
  • Experience in community and threat identification.
  • Ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in drafting concise intelligence reports.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, teamwork orientation, and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the targeting environment and applications.
  • Prior experience with operational data analysis.
  • Specialization in intelligence related to specific geopolitical regions.

Clearance:

  • Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Occasional movement within the office is required to access resources.
  • Frequent operation of computers and other office equipment is necessary.
  • Regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders, which may involve delivering presentations.
