POSITION SUMMARY:

CPG is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst. This role involves the management and oversight of financial operations related to construction projects. Responsibilities may evolve in accordance with the company's construction initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and generate financial reports.
  • Support budgeting processes and monthly financial closures.
  • Identify and understand primary business drivers.
  • Provide financial guidance to project teams.
  • Create financial forecasts and develop financial models.
  • Conduct necessary research and analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and relevant laws.
  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process evaluations.
  • Project quarterly and annual financial outcomes.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Evaluate and report on the current financial condition.
  • Perform comprehensive research on historical financial data.
  • Investigate investment opportunities and assess associated risks.

  • Engage in departmental and project budgeting.
  • Review accounting entries for accuracy.
  • Establish financial policies.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficient in financial and statistical software.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (including spreadsheet creation and complex formulas).
  • Familiarity with financial databases.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).
  • Current understanding of accounting laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to present financial data clearly through detailed reports and visual aids.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality in managing sensitive financial information.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience (Preferred):
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
  • Ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar financial systems.
COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at navigating various software platforms.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No supervisory responsibilities for this position.
