Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Low Income Housing Tax Credit Clerk to join our team at Grenadier Realty Corp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining application waitlists, initiating and concluding rental processes, and conducting initial rent-ups of newly constructed projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage waiting lists in accordance with HUD and Local Preference Rules.
  • Determine applicants' eligibility for placement on the waitlist.
  • Select applicants for vacancies and transmit information to site offices.
  • Process incoming applications, log and date-stamp them, and mail acknowledgement letters to applicants.
  • Purge and update waitlists as needed.
  • Review move-in files for program compliance and correctness.
  • Prepare monthly occupancy and vacancy reports for all sites.
  • Assist site managers with rental issues and conduct site visits.

Requirements:

  • Some college coursework completed.
  • At least 3 years' experience in leasing or property management of LIHTC properties.
  • LIHTC Certification.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, Real Page, or similar industry software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to follow proper procedures.
