Hydraulic Hose Shop Assistant

Pirtek in Richmond (West End) is seeking a full-time Hydraulic Hose Shop Assistant to create custom hose assemblies, maintain a well-organized warehouse, and deliver exceptional customer service. Mechanical experience is preferred, as some disassembly and reassembly may be required.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$24 (dependent on experience), with opportunities for overtime and Saturday morning shifts (8am-12pm) paid at an overtime rate of time and a half.

The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Experience with basic hand tools
  • Mechanical experience preferred

Successful candidates will undergo a criminal background check and pass a drug screening. Paid training is provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

As a Hydraulic Hose Shop Assistant, you will work closely with our field technicians to provide inventory and restock support, ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment, while delivering exceptional customer service and specifying the correct replacement assemblies based on customer-provided samples and specifications.
