Business Development Representative

About the Role:
Silmar Electronics, Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Distribution Sales/Management Trainee. This is an inside distribution sales/management trainee position with the potential to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Learning all aspects and responsibilities of wholesale distribution, including receiving and shipping, executing inventory cycle counts, and customer service procedures.
- Upon learning Silmar's distribution model and areas of technology in the low voltage space, the candidate will transition into an inside counter sales role, selling security products in accordance with our policies, principles, and procedures.
- Conducting telephone sales calls to our dealer network and assisting our customers in selecting the right products for their applications.
Qualifications:
- B2B Wholesale & customer service experience is preferred.
- Computer or computer network experience or education, technical sales experience, low voltage security industry experience is desired but not a requirement.
