Position Overview

The Clinical Partner (CP) plays a crucial role in delivering basic technical nursing skills and performing delegated tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse, in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and Baptist Health policies. The CP is an essential member of the nursing team, collaborating closely with the assigned RN to ensure safe and quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic technical nursing skills as deemed competent.
  • Assist in tasks such as discontinuing saline locks and Foley catheters under RN supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide quality care.

Qualifications

Degrees: High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training, Experience

Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse, Basic Life Support, Certified Nursing Assistant

Additional Qualifications: A CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required, with a preference for candidates with 2 years of experience in an acute care setting in Florida.
