We are seeking a Configuration and Change Management Lead for a pivotal role that necessitates a Top Secret clearance. This position mandates a presence on-site and requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, along with the capability to secure and uphold a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Role Overview
    • The Configuration and Change Management Lead will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing all facets of Configuration and Change Management processes to enhance and sustain the technical baseline of IT systems.
  • Primary Duties
    • Develop comprehensive documentation and execute detailed strategies for the configuration and change control of IT initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with other pertinent processes. The Lead will perform evaluations and continuously monitor the IT landscape for adherence to established Change and Configuration management protocols, while assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of these processes to promote ongoing enhancement.
Qualifications
  • Experience Requirements
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in executing and directing configuration and change control, including management of the change control board.
    • 7 years of experience in conducting design reviews, configuration audits, and product evaluations to guarantee accurate identification, control, and status accounting of all IT systems' baselines.
    • 7 years of experience ensuring compliance with governmental policies and procedures, alongside enforcing quality control measures.
    • Proven track record in managing the change process to ensure that only sanctioned and validated modifications are integrated into the IT framework.
    • Experience in identifying and preserving the original configuration of requirements, designs, software, hardware, and associated documentation.
    • A comprehensive understanding of IT and business requirements, with the ability to lead the development, testing, and deployment of enhancements and updated workflows based on these requirements.
    • Demonstrated capability to identify and communicate risks and opportunities to the IT Team and Management.
    • Experience in creating training materials and delivering training on Configuration and Change Management principles, policies, standards, and procedures to foster adherence across the organization.
    • Experience supporting Information Assurance through effective configuration management of Information Systems (IS) to facilitate security and risk management.
    • Proven expertise in establishing, managing, and maintaining IT Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications
    • ITIL v.4 Certification is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe), Software Development, and Project Management methodologies.
    • Configuration Management Certification (NDIA, CMII, or CMPIC) is preferred.
    • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is advantageous.
  • Security Clearance
    • This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
