We are seeking a Configuration and Change Management Lead to join our team. This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and the ability to secure and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Duties
    • The Configuration and Change Manager will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing all facets of Configuration and Change Management processes to ensure the integrity of the technical baseline of IT systems.
  • Core Responsibilities
    • The Configuration and Change Manager will create comprehensive documentation and execute detailed strategies for managing configuration and change control across IT programs and projects. This role will ensure proper integration with other relevant processes and conduct assessments to monitor compliance with established Change and Configuration management plans, continually reviewing process effectiveness for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
  • Experience Requirements
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in leading configuration and change control processes, including management of the change control board.
    • 7 years of experience conducting design reviews, configuration audits, and product evaluations to ensure proper identification and control of IT system baselines.
    • 7 years of experience ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures, alongside enforcing quality control measures.
    • Proven experience in managing the change process to ensure that only approved changes are implemented in the IT environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain the original configuration of requirements, designs, software, hardware, and associated documentation.
    • In-depth understanding of IT and business requirements, with a proven ability to lead development, testing, and deployment of improvements based on these requirements.
    • Strong capability to identify and communicate risks and opportunities to the IT team and management.
    • Experience in developing training materials and conducting sessions on Configuration and Change Management principles to promote adherence across the organization.
    • Proven track record in supporting Information Assurance through effective configuration management of Information Systems (IS) to facilitate security and risk management.
    • Established experience in managing IT Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications
    • ITIL v.4 Certification is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe), Software Development, and Project Management methodologies.
    • Configuration Management Certification (NDIA, CMII, or CMPIC) is preferred.
    • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is a plus.
  • Security Clearance Requirements
    • This position mandates U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
