We are seeking a dedicated Field Sales Representative to join our Altec Natural Gas Sales Team, focusing on the Midwest region of the United States. You will receive comprehensive training and technical sales support, equipping you with the necessary tools and network to confidently present solutions to our clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year bachelor's degree is mandatory; a background in business or engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of successful experience in outside sales is preferred. Familiarity with equipment is a significant advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively overnight.
  • Capability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
  • Strong communication and information processing skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in PC applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management tasks is necessary.

The job level may be adjusted at the time of hiring if the candidate meets the qualifications for a more advanced position within the career path.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Evaluate the potential applications of company products and/or services, providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct research and present findings that demonstrate the cost-benefit of purchasing Altec products or services to potential clients.
  • Deliver technical training to clients and relay customer feedback for future product enhancements.
  • Increase market share with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
