Total Compensation:

Position Overview:

Jewish Family Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to become part of the Supporting Our Survivors San Diego team as a Care Management Associate/Administrative Support. This role provides an opportunity to leverage your organizational expertise and attention to detail to positively impact the community and enhance lives across San Diego.

The Care Management Associate/Administrative Support is a vital member of the team, assisting Care Managers in delivering both short-term and long-term support to clients, implementing established care plans, and maintaining comprehensive records, files, statistics, and documentation for program-related activities.

This position works closely with the San Diego team and reports directly to the SOS Program Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage files for new clients, including opening and closing case files.
• Scan, file, and maintain documents and receipts in both physical and electronic formats for audit purposes.
• Collect and process mail, and enter check requests into the client database.
• Prepare letters and notifications for clients receiving financial assistance.
• Print and distribute quarterly service confirmation letters.
• Maintain client information through annual updates and surveys.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality guidelines and uphold quality standards in all client services.
• Assist Care Managers in executing established care plans and facilitate client services as needed.
• Support additional projects such as holiday deliveries and socialization groups.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience working with elderly populations, particularly those with PTSD and low-income backgrounds.
• Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Jewish history, traditions, and culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn complex data systems.

Additional Information:
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, communicate effectively with clients and staff, and transport clients as needed.
