Job Description

As a key member of our Accounting Department, the Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process financial reports, including daily ARP Panagon balancing reports and benefit cash reports.
  • Verify and reconcile financial transactions, including ACH payments and check registers.
  • Assist with vendor account payable processing, transmission balancing, and pension and IAP manual check processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor, Controller, and Assistant Controller to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong background in financial data entry and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
