Position Summary:
The Brake and HVAC Repair Technician plays a crucial role in the maintenance and restoration of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
2. Disassemble and clean equipment as necessary.
3. Conduct initial assessments and inspections of assigned equipment, providing insights on required parts and labor for repairs.
4. Document findings and compile a Technician Evaluation Report.
5. Manage wiring and install crimp terminations and connectors.
6. Execute testing and record results for both subassemblies and assemblies.
7. Perform component-level and some system-level testing as directed.
8. Interpret readings from gauges, indicators, and dials.
9. Assist in equipment testing and maintain accurate test records.
10. Carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.
11. Uphold a safe, clean, and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
12. Adhere to quality, product safety, and HSE standards, including ISO certifications.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in controls and instrumentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment maintenance and inspection tools.
- Effective time management to ensure readiness for scheduled repairs.
- Problem-solving skills guided by established policies and procedures.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and report generation.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Compensation:
The expected pay range is $25.62 - $27 per hour, influenced by factors such as role responsibilities, candidate experience, and skills.
