Job Overview:
The role involves overseeing the appropriate processing baths and materials necessary to deliver top-notch products for our clientele.

Collaborates closely with Processing Line/Shift Supervisors to prioritize product flows, ensuring optimal utilization of process tanks in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to production timelines.

Aims to maintain uniformity from batch to batch and shift to shift through effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures thorough inspection of loads before collection for identification, tooling, security, height, and depth positioning.

Coordinates all loads with Team Lead/Shift Supervisor to maximize available tank time efficiently.
Ensures a processing program is established prior to handling loads. If absent, promptly notify Team Lead/Supervisor.

Processes special loads as directed, adhering to precise specifications and maintaining clear communication with process technicians, supervisors, leads, and fellow line operators.

Capable of managing multiple lines in facilities where applicable.
Strives for consistency from batch to batch and shift to shift through collaboration and communication.
Ensures products are processed according to specifications and aligns with personal judgment standards.
Identifies and escalates issues with raw materials.

Report any issues such as:
excessive oil, deep and blind holes, potential air pockets, corrosion, galvanic issues, etc. Additionally, must be able to suggest process modifications to meet final product specifications.
Engages in tank maintenance tasks.
Rejects any loads failing to meet standard processing criteria.
Monitors pH and solution levels in all relevant tanks. Oversees tanks and performs necessary additions as per daily checklists and protocols. Alerts the lab if non-compliant tanks are identified. Changes tank filters as required.
Exhibits strong communication skills and effectively interacts with colleagues.
Responds to alarms and adheres to established protocols. Monitors the proper operation of waste treatment systems if applicable.
Understands the operation of standard equipment such as rectifiers, pumps, and cranes. Familiar with setup calibrations and basic troubleshooting for equipment including data tracks and controllers.
Responsible for documenting and maintaining accurate information on run sheets, including temperature, loads, voltages, etc.
Ensures proper shift handoff and strives to maintain consistency across shifts.
Maintains cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in all work areas and equipment.

Responsible for cleaning contact pads on work bars and tanks to ensure full electrical connectivity through the loads.

Responsible for promptly reporting any equipment issues following designated procedures.
Escalates any concerns or suggestions for tooling enhancements via facility protocols.

Physical/Environmental/Chemical Hazards:

Exposure to sharp components, sharp tooling, heavy carts, varying temperature and humidity levels, heat from ovens, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool usage, and compressed air (hearing protection required).

Must be capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to distinguish between color variations.
Potential splash exposure near processing lines.
Various chemicals utilized in the process.

Position Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Strong mathematical abilities.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Successful completion of Line Operator Trainee role or equivalent experience.
