Job Overview

Position Summary

The ERP & Systems Support Technician will provide hands-on assistance, solutions, and expertise to end-users of the ERP system across all modules of D365 and its associated applications. This role will also extend support for various IT requirements at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as part of a tier 2 and tier 3 support team within a D365 or similar cloud-based ERP environment.
  • Oversee and prioritize support requests to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Deliver technical assistance to business and manufacturing end-users.
  • Assist with technical tasks related to development testing prior to deployment in partnership with the D365 Implementation Team.
  • Engage closely with system users to address daily challenges and errors associated with system hardware/software configurations, enhancements, and post-implementation support.
  • Escalate inquiries for development to business consultants as necessary.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and assess technology-related issues.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for label printers, mobile devices, PCs, and tablets interfacing with D365.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in supporting D365.
  • Capability to conduct functional testing, as well as write and execute test scripts and bug reports.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues amidst competing demands.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of ERP functionality in a job shop setting.
  • Experience with Power Apps.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 are preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and other office equipment as required.
  • Capability to reach above shoulder height, below the waist, or lift equipment for installation or storage.
  • Exposure to the manufacturing environment is expected.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
