About The Role

Are you enthusiastic about spearheading operational excellence in a vibrant and entrepreneurial work setting? We are in search of a Special Projects Operations Leader to join us in our mission to drive a digital transformation in the B2B supply chain.

The Special Projects Operations Leader will collaborate with our executive, operations, and product/engineering teams to promote operational enhancements through feature development, customer-vendor onboarding, account management, process refinement, implementation, and various special projects within the operations division. This role will involve direct engagement with departmental and regional managers to support company growth and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational objectives of the CFO and COO.
  • Formulate strategies and tactics to achieve both long-term and short-term strategic goals.
  • Lead by example when necessary, ensuring operational success through hands-on involvement.
  • Maintain relationships with customer stakeholders, including buyers, influencers, users, and their vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between customer users and the product team for new feature assessment.
  • Establish KPIs to evaluate performance across various segments and derive actionable insights.
  • Build and lead a team focused on operational excellence and customer service, fostering a culture of determination.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage the performance and growth of team members.
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or Engineer is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in surpassing annual targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, supply chain, logistics, and finance departments to support customer adoption.
  • Understanding of service-oriented operations teams that cater to customers with 24/7/365 operations.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency in all projects, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks in an organized manner.
  • Proficient in both team collaboration and independent project execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus).
  • 4-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year leading a team of 5 or more direct reports.
  • Experience in a start-up environment (e.g., Series A, B, or C) is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Customer Change Management is advantageous.
