Position Overview

The Alienware Technology Sales Specialist is dedicated to crafting an exceptional shopping journey for our clientele while addressing their technological requirements within their designated area of expertise. This individual fosters strong connections with retail patrons to deliver impactful and engaging product demonstrations.

The Specialist offers comprehensive service and solution support to customers in their experience domain, as well as across all product categories. They are accountable for driving profitability by meeting revenue, margin, solutions, and operational objectives. Additionally, they collaborate closely with fellow team members to showcase, promote, and sell products and services within their specialization. Although primarily focused on their area of expertise, they also assist customers across all categories within the sales department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with customers utilizing specialized Best Buy certifications and sales techniques to finalize transactions, stimulate profitable growth, and accomplish team and individual targets.
  • Demonstrates a high level of product knowledge and expertise through continuous learning, self-improvement, and specialized certifications to facilitate an outstanding customer shopping experience within the specific vendor ecosystem.
  • Serves as a trusted subject matter expert, advocate, and champion for their designated area of expertise, including coaching and training colleagues on new technologies and services.
  • Ensures the merchandising and readiness of the specified department to effectively serve customers.
  • Proactively engages customers using sales skills to boost sales of Computer Gaming products and services in the designated Computer Gaming Experience zone.
  • Illustrates to each customer how selecting the right products and services can enhance their lives.
  • Collaborates with the store team to appropriately guide customers to other team members who can address their specific needs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a specialist or enthusiast in premium, luxury, or complex technology products/services.
  • 1 year of sales experience.
  • 1 year of experience with consumer electronics products/services.
