We are in search of a motivated entry-level financial accountant to collaborate with our Accounting Manager and play a pivotal role in our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of basic accounting concepts and hold a four-year degree in accounting. We seek someone who is ready to engage in various tasks, from journal entries to month-end financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support the month-end closing process and prepare financial statements for review by the CFO.
- Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations, including prepaids, receivables, and accrued payroll.
- Assist in developing a comprehensive month and quarter-end reporting package.
- Process accounts payable transactions.
- Create invoices for accounts receivable.
- Record daily banking activities and other journal entries.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and post monthly depreciation entries.
- Assist in the coordination of year-end audits.
- Contribute to special projects related to accounting.
- Familiarity with US GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a willingness to enhance Excel skills.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve issues.
- Consistent ability to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or an associate degree with two years of relevant experience.
- Experience with accounting software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using MS Windows-based systems.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting is acceptable.
