Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team at Pfeiffer Vacuum. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for administering credit policies, invoicing, cash posting, collecting receivables, and resolving credit disputes internally and with external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit information, including credit limits and payment terms.
  • Process and manage customer payments, including cash postings, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve customer credit disputes and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal financial performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred or at least 3-5 years of related Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to perform basic mathematical computations and understand fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with database and spreadsheet software.
