Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As an integral part of our financial operations, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and managing the general ledger.
Responsibilities- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to final payment, including coding invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders, and processing payments.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform 3-way match (invoice, purchase order, and goods receipt) to validate invoices.
- Manage manufacturing accounting entries, ensuring accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, addressing any queries or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes, increase efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in General Ledger management and 3-way match.
- Experience with manufacturing accounting and entries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
