Senior Active Directory Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Identity team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and highly available AD DS environments to support Microsoft's cloud services.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and tools to automate AD DS tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve platform, system, deployment, and environmental issues prior to production release.
- Design and implement process or technology solutions to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Microsoft's Identity services.
- Communicate technical information to stakeholders and apply advanced diagnostic expertise during service issues to restore service with minimal disruption to the customer and business.
- Conduct periodic on-call duties to ensure 24/7 support for AD DS environments.
- 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Practical experience operating and designing AD DS environments, including Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Kerberos, Windows New Technology LAN Manager (NTLM), Group Policy, Windows Time, Trusts, Delegation, Replication.
- Industry experience with PowerShell scripting/programming languages and understanding of network technologies and protocols, including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Domain Name System (DNS).
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- 7+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
