Senior Active Directory Domain Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Identity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, latency, performance, and security of our Identity systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement large-scale data architecture, operational architecture, and network architecture to support our Identity services.
- Develop and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our Identity services.
- Collaborate with Development, Test, and PM counterparts to translate customer, business, and technical requirements into components of a service architecture and operability.
- Conduct periodic on-call duties to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
- Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Practical experience operating and designing Active Directory Domain Services (LDAP, Kerberos, Windows NTLM, Group Policy, Windows Time, Trusts, Delegation, Replication).
- Industry experience with PowerShell scripting/programming languages and understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP and DNS).
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- 7+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a sense of ownership and drive.
