Active Directory Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Systems Engineer to join our team at The Hiring Group. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID solutions for our clients.
- Configure and deploy Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and threat management.
- Support implementation and management of security policies, alerts, reports, and audits.
- Monitor and resolve health, usage, and service incidents related to M365 services.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and IT personnel on M365 services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices pertaining to M365 services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator role.
- Experience configuring/administering Enterprise technology including Microsoft Active Directory, Enterprise Security Tools, Windows, Identity Brokerage Systems, Linux, Automation, Scripting, Server Hardware, Virtualization, and Cloud Services.
- Proficient with PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of Intune/MDM.
- Skilled in incident management and prioritization.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives efficiently.
- Experience in managing vendor communications and relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Implementation, advisory, and support experience on Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Implementation, advisory, and support experience on Microsoft Azure Purview.
- Solid knowledge on Azure and Azure Identity access Management, Conditional Access, SSO, App Integration, Identity protection, and management, Admin center.
- Ability to work in a multicloud environment with Microsoft Entra.
